Morgon Dom de la Chaponne

Laurent Guillet has 11 hectares of vines around his farmhouse in Morgon.  He makes a rich, concentrated wine which is Burgundian in style.  This is from Coe du Py, the finest little sub-area in the village.  Often described as a “masculine” Beaujolais compared to Fleurie as “feminine”.  We think they mean fuller in the body!
