Domaine Burle Gigondas ‘Les Fouilles’

Damien and Florent Burle took over the running of the estate from their father Edmond in 2004. Their style is rusticity at its best.

There is no destemming and the wines have bags of fruit and guts. This is 50% Syrah and 50% Grenache from a single 1 hectare plot of 40 year old vines situated at a high altitude.
