Bill Meaden started making cider in 2011 as a hobby business at Myncen Farm, Minchington (just outside Blandford) to make use of local fruit which would otherwise have been wasted.
Cider making has always been a family tradition, with Bill’s grandad and great-grandad making cider to drink on their farm.
‘The Hurdle Maker’ is his medium-dry vitntage offering, aged in oak to give a depth of flavour and a rich colour.
