Alpha Estate Hedgehog Vineyard Xinomavro

A stonking wine and a real find.

Xinomavro translates literally as ‘bitter black’ and is a grape that makes a really complex wine similar to Barolo.  The vineyards are high up in northern Greece where the climate is less severe.

If all that were not enough to tempt you, they also contribute to the welfare of the local hedgehog population.
