Another superb offering from one of our favourites, located just at the border of the two magnificent wine-growing regions Beaujolais and Burgundy.
On this renowned terroir, the Chardonnay grape (known as the ‘white pearl’ in the region) produces a truly charming wine. On the nose expect fragrant white flowers and fresh fruit, followed by perfectly balanced freshness and minerality on the palate.
Fun fact: All the wines from Domaine de la Creuze Noire are made from mono-varietal vineyards. Chardonnay is used for the white wines and Gamay Noir for the red wines. Whilst the estate produces a few few different wines, they’re all expression of these two ‘guiding threads’ as they term them.
