Located close to the town of Gavi, Roberto and Aurora Sarotto’s tiny 12 hectere, single vineyard Tenuta Manenti estate is perfectly placed to grow top notch Cortese.
Huge emphasis is put on the cultivation of the vines, with the belief that good wine stems from the vine, and develops in the cellar. Hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed, Bric Sassi is from the upper, higher part (the ‘bric‘) of the single vineyard, which is strewn with stones (‘sassi‘).
Sarotto is renowned for consistently producing traditional honeydew fragranced white flower Gavi, and this is no exception.
